The manual states that diverting package lists should be compared within the backup2master process with dpkg --get-selections.
A customer reported¹ that this will install the package univention-server-master on the backup, however this package is handled from the backup2master implementation itself, so maybe it would be good to mention this in the backup2master chapter.
