When the join process is started by activating the button "Join" only the button itself is disabled (grayed out) and its text changes to "Joining".

The input fields for the domain name, user, password are still active and can be changed while the process is running in the background. They should be disabled.

Also there is little to no progress information: From a usability standpoint there should be a progress indicator and optionally some high-level messages from the log should be shown.
