The implementation for Bug #55435 has an issue regarding the configurability of logrotate settings: It is influenced (and can only be influenced) by the settings for "nmbd" (or "smbd" as fallback) like e.g. logrotate/nmbd/rotate/count.


On a side note: The UCR variables used in the logrotate config template "samba" in univention-samba differ from the ones used in the template "samba" univention-samba4. univention-samba is using logrotate/log.nmbd/rotate/count instead.
