Flags are lost when mail is moved/copied between mail boxes.  

This bug has been observed and fixed upstream with Dovecot release v.2.3.7:

- Copying/moving mails using Maildir format loses IMAP keywords in the
  destination if the mail also has no system flags.

The commits [2] and [3] could be the two relevant modifications that fix this bug.
