On a recent takeover test, I happened to be looking at  the takeover logs.

and saw teh following:

2023-02-06 11:59:36,250 gencache_init: Failed to create directory: /root/.cache/samba - Permission denied

this was a bug reported recently on samba, that was possibly fixed feb 2022

is Univention perhaps doing something in userspace related to "administrator" vrs "root", that causes this.

and does it even matter?
