Univention Bugzilla – Bug 55772
Error when upgrading during domain creation
Last modified: 2023-03-02 12:27:22 CET
Created attachment 11041 [details] management-console-web-server.log If I check the tick for upgrading the system during the domain creation, the process stops eventually when it's trying to restart the univention-management-console-server. If I try to restart it manually I get an "Permission Denied" Error. Mär 02 08:54:08 ucs-9440 systemd[22874]: univention-management-console-server.service: Failed to execute command: Permission denied Mär 02 08:54:08 ucs-9440 systemd[22874]: univention-management-console-server.service: Failed at step EXEC spawning /usr/sbin/univention-management-console-server: Permission denied

hm, we fixed such an issue in Bug #55753. But if it still occurs (maybe due to another erratum doing some things): Interesting would be setup.log and /var/log/apt/term.log.

(In reply to it from comment #4) > Created attachment 11045 [details] > apt_term.log This shows an upgrade to univention-management-console-server (12.0.17-3A~5.0.0.202302071823). https://errata.software-univention.de/#/?erratum=5.0x595 Bug #55753 released 12.0.17-6A~5.0.0.202302241559. Therefore this should be fixed already by Bug #55753. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 55753 ***
