Description akrause 2023-05-25 13:56:37 CEST
When creating a new user template inside the LDAP directory, I'm getting an error message when using attributes like this

<firstname>.<lastname>@domain.com<:strip,lower,umlauts>

for the recovery email address. When I used UCS4, that worked just fine.

This error just happens, since I upgraded to 5.0-3.

The error message is
The following properties could not be validated:
E-mail address: No valid E-mail address! The email address contains invalid characters before the @-sign: FULL STOP, GREATER-THAN SIGN, LESS-THAN SIGN.

Other email addresses inside the template can be used with this attribute.

Old templates that were created before the upgrade still work with this attribute inside the recovery mail field.

I could reproduce this behaviour on multiple domains, including a newly created one.
