I am not sure, I put this bug at the right place, maybe an other component is more suitable.

A customer reported share access problems, with some of his clients, accessing e.g. the marktplatz share. The personal user share is always accessable.

Since it is the same user, from the same network to the same Samba server, the question arises as to why it works on one computer and not on the others.

samba logs shows
Denied connection from 172.25.136.29

During debugging, we found
 + doing parameter include = /etc/samba/local.config.d/Marktplatz.local.config.conf
+[2024/04/18 13:30:02, 2] ../../source3/param/loadparm.c:2915(lp_do_section)
+ Processing section "[Marktplatz]"
+ doing parameter hosts deny = 172.25.136.24 172.25.136.14 172.25.136.19 172.25.136.28 172.25.136.11 172.25.136.16 172.25.136.5 172.25.136.9 172.25.136.29 172.25.136.20 172.25.136.25 172.25.136.7 172.25.136.10 172.25.136.6 172.25.136.13 172.25.136.18 172.25.136.26 172.25.136.12 172.25.136.27 172.25.136.23 172.25.136.22 172.25.136.15 172.25.136.21 172.25.136.8

The Problem is, that this is not visible/shown anywhere on the GUI. These entrys seem to be generated during exam-mode, because a /usr/share/ucs-school-exam/exam-and-room-cleanup removed this entries.

It was not at all apparent from the surface that there was still a corpse of
from a class assignment and that the computers were blocked as a result.
