Aus unbekannten Grund ist der ucs-test-Lauf in der EC2 mit folgendem Fehler fehlgeschlagen:
 /usr/lib/univention-system-setup/scripts/software//10software exited because of uncaught signal 14

System-Setup hat das nicht erkannt und anschließend muter mit em Ausführen der Join-Skripte weiter gemacht. Erst viel später war das System dann so unbrauchbar, daß SS dann auch irgendwann mal die Installation aufgegeben hat und den Fehler an ucs-test-setup zurückgemeldet hat.

Ich habe einen der "read -t 0.01"-Aufrufe in Verdacht, weil das eigentlich die einzigen Aufrufe in besagtenm Skript sind, die was mit Zeit zu tun haben.

In UCS-3.1 wurde das Skript komplett überarbeitet, von daher ist abzuwarten, ob das mit UCS-3.1 auch noch auftritt.

Erneut aufgetreten:

Die Meldung wird von debianutils-3.4.10.201104231316/run-parts.c ausgegeben, wenn das aufgerufene Programm mit einem Signal beendet wird.
Da Timer nicht per fork() vererbt werden, muß die Shell wohl selber einen Timer setzen; alarm() wird oft auch für die Implementierung von "sleep" genutzt.

Ist das noch relevant? Mittlerweile benutzen wir python-apt als Schnittstelle.

Still relevant? Which process is affected? univention-join or univention-management-console-module -m setup?

This issue has been filed against UCS 3. UCS 3 is out of the normal maintenance and many UCS components have vastly changed in UCS 4.

If this issue is still valid, please change the version to a newer UCS version otherwise this issue will be automatically closed in the next weeks.

This issue has been filed against UCS 3.0.

UCS 3.0 is out of maintenance and many UCS components have vastly changed in later releases. Thus, this issue is now being closed.
