Univention Bugzilla – Bug 32928
Hide special users and groups
Last modified: 2015-04-01 13:48:42 CEST
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #32871 +++ We should hide the following users by default: - join-backup - join-slave - dns-* And these pseudo groups: - Authenticated Users - World Authority - Everyone - Null Authority - Nobody - Enterprise Domain Controllers +++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #31408 +++ It would be nice if univentionObjectFlag can be set via the UDM interface (CLI and python API).
The feature is now documented in Chapter 4.2.3.1 "Searching for objects". The QA should cover he whole section, I also documented the simplied default search

(In reply to Moritz Muehlenhoff from comment #1) > The feature is now documented in Chapter 4.2.3.1 "Searching for objects". > Okay. Maybe one should mention that this only applies to newly installed systems? 3.1 -> 3.2 systems do not hide these objects (AFAIK). But this is not critical. > The QA should cover he whole section, I also documented the simplied default > search Main reason for REOPENED: If advanced options are documented, one should document them all. * Hidden * Superordinate (MISSING) * Search in * Object Type (label depends on module!) (MISSING) * Property Some are shown depending on module, only Hidden and Property are always there. To be exact, even hidden is not always shown. It is not available in "LDAP directory" ("Show hidden" is always true), but I guess this is fine.

"superordinate" is only used for DNS/DHCP, will be covered in Bug 32917 "object type" is now covered in 45920
