Can be seen when selecting all items at once in App Center: Extended package management, searching for * when unmaintained is activated. FF asks to abort execution of JS.

Got better during development, still an issue

True. As there are few cases with that many entries it is not very critical.

Behaviour for a few thousand entries (e.g., 3000) is fine.
