Univention Bugzilla – Bug 36488
UCS 4.0 PT: Installation (UCS)
Last modified: 2015-05-28 09:32:45 CEST
The following product tests have to be performed: https://hutten.knut.univention.de/mediawiki/index.php/Produkttests_UCS_4.0_Installation_%28UCS%29 Please consider the product test notes: https://hutten.knut.univention.de/mediawiki/index.php/Hinweise_zu_den_Produkttests Please add your name and the results to: https://hutten.knut.univention.de/mediawiki/index.php/Produkttests_UCS_4.0
In addition to the bugs I observed the following strange behavior: 1. In one test run /etc/network/interfaces had a bridge br0 configured for dhcp, while the UCRV interfaces/ actually were set to a static configuration. /e/n/i was generated the same time /var/log/univention/config-registry.replog was updated, which contained both "unset" and "set" log entries, probably from two intermixed UCR calls. (I no longer have the VM) I guess one invocation was from univention-register-network-address. 2. On my new notbook without network: firefox starts up and sends a request through apache2 → u-m-c-web-s → u-m-c-s → u-m-c-module-setup, but the answer never seems to get back past u-m-c-s: with debug=4 the log contains the message of successfully parsing the UMCP RESPONSE and receiving it, but nothing more. strace shows nothing special. 3. Early during setup config-krb5 is configured. It tried to resolve _kerberos._tcp SRV RRs, which take some time without a working network.
OK

Look like Bug #36880 as wlan0 was configured, but eth0 not.
