Please add a menu entry for the installation boot menu which disables the DHCP request. The following boot parameter disables the boot request:
  netcfg/disable_autoconfig=true

Fixed. Boot menu has been patched accordingly.

The patch has been updated. Now the GTK mode should be used. A new DVD is currently building...

We received this as external feedback. A evaluator wanted to do the system-setup part of the installer in his own browser but could not configure the IP address as it was already received via DHCP.
I hope users will see the menu entry. Otherwise maybe this could be displayed somewhere in UMC-system-setup-debian-installer-mode.

The patch has been applied against package "debian-installer":
r14073 | Bug #37000: use GTK not text mode
r14071 | Bug #37000: add option to install with DHCP disabled
r14069 | Bug #37000: add option to install with DHCP disabled

DHCP is suppressed when selecting the new option.
