Univention Bugzilla – Bug 39780
With open updater module and upon reload - browser asked whether to leave the page
Last modified: 2016-01-20 13:24:43 CET
Created attachment 7247 [details] Screenshot We added in Bug 37033 a warning dialogue when reloading the UMC window during a running software update. However, this warning is also displayed when no update process is running, but the UMC module has just been opened (cf. screenshot). This can be somewhat confusing, e.g., when the update module has been opened and an app is installed and asks to reload UMC. A reload will then be consequently blocked with this warning dialogue.
I had to move the code into updater.js - really hard to differentiate otherwise. univention-updater (11.0.7-8): r66393 | Bug #39780: don't display warning pop up if no update is currently performed r66392 | Bug #39780: Fix space/tab mix, whitespace changes, dead code
Alex, do you know how to reproduce it? I've tried it several times without success.
(In reply to Stefan Gohmann from comment #2) > Alex, do you know how to reproduce it? I've tried it several times without > success. It happens always (maybe only when no updates are available?) - You can see it on demo.univention.de right now. Just open the module, wait for the progressbar and close the browser tab.
Tests: OK, I've tested with Chrome, Firefox and IE 11. It worked in both cases like expected (running upgrade, no running upgrade). YAML: OK
