Univention Bugzilla – Bug 39808
Renewing expired password via UMC login could be more intuitive
Last modified: 2017-05-11 17:36:49 CEST
Created attachment 7260 [details] Screenshot UMC change expired password When logging in the UMC with an expired password, one has to renew it. This is the information that is displayed: Large font: > New password > New password (retype) > Authentication Failure Small font: > The password has expired and must be renewed. see also the attachments. The actual information on what is going on, is the smallest one of all four and the last one, therefore it is easily overlooked. I would prefer something like Large font: > The password has expired > and must be renewed. > > New password > New password (retype) The same applies to the dialog when the new password is too simple. Again the real information is displayed, but the font is quite small an it's at the bottom.

Yes! At least the title could be more friendly. We should address this when fixing Bug #38204, too. We could send a title from the backend. I adjusted this a little bit in UCS 4.1 - what the power of the frontend provides ;-)

I fixed this in UCS 4.2.
