Univention Bugzilla – Bug 41690
Track opening of Apps from the UMC gallery
Last modified: 2016-10-31 16:01:58 CET
The backend should send a notification, just like after (un)installation, when the user clicks on the App in the Gallery. Should only be tracked if the App is not yet installed anywhere. If NotifyVendor=True, track license_uuid as 0000-0000-.... Please check whether the text regarding the notification is still valid.

univention-appcenter 5.0.21-19.190.201607141025 The "estranged notification" is already mentioned in the initial (one-time) dialog in the App Center. Only minor text changes were required.
It works if I open the app. If I use the next app button, it doesn't work. > (In reply to Dirk Wiesenthal from comment #0) > > If NotifyVendor=True, track license_uuid as 0000-0000-.... > > If NotifyVendor=False... Wouldn't it be better to use the UUID for this scenario as well?
(In reply to Stefan Gohmann from comment #3) > It works if I open the app. If I use the next app button, it doesn't work. Changed it from tracking "the click on the Gallery" to "showing the App in the DetailsPage". univention-appcenter 5.0.21-21.193.201607151611 > > (In reply to Dirk Wiesenthal from comment #0) > > > If NotifyVendor=True, track license_uuid as 0000-0000-.... > > > > If NotifyVendor=False... > > Wouldn't it be better to use the UUID for this scenario as well? As discussed, this could be done by another ("not-mappable") UUID, but maybe not the current license uuid.
OK, it works now. YAML is OK.
