Currently, we are maintaining manual in English and German and the UCS@school teacher manual in French. It would be helpful to maintain translations of these manuals via PO files. This would facilitate the communication with external translators, but also this would make it easier to detect changes that have been done in one document and to translate them.

With the transformation to reStructuredText for the 5.0 major release, all current product documentation uses gettext for translation.
