Univention Bugzilla – Bug 43734
Software selection is empty on slave and member
Last modified: 2017-04-04 18:29:56 CEST
During my test installations, the software selection was empty on my DC Slave and on my member server.
Which DVD did you use for testing?
(In reply to Erik Damrose from comment #1) > Which DVD did you use for testing? The latest: ucs_4.2-0-20170307-052745-dvd-amd64.iso I guess the system was unable to reach any DNS server during the installation.

I would guess this is already fixed. I will check again.
Has been fixed. Not sure how and when, but my systems had a complete software selection.

No sorry, it doesn't work. I've started the installation of master and slave at the same time. I've set the master as nameserver for the slave. Afterwards, I've configured and rebooted the master. After that, I've started the slave configuration. So, while the debian installer is running, the nameserver doesn't work. I guess, that is the reason.

Unpacking the local cache earlier should fix this. So this has been done in Bug#43866 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 43866 ***
OK, it works now.
