3) UMC-Module "schoolimport": right after the module opens, the user is asked for the user role to be imported. The values within the drop down are not translated.

It was a bit tricky to get the translation working for the syntax. Did I miss something obvious?

OK: code change (name for variable _local could be more meaningful)
OK: cleanup - thanks for moving syntax files into subdir
