Description Valentin Heidelberger univentionstaff 2020-01-30 11:34:14 CET
The UCS@school manual recommends users to install ucs-school-selfservice-support to keep umc/self-service/passwordreset/whitelist/groups up to date when new schools are created.

https://docs.software-univention.de/ucsschool-handbuch-4.4.html#school:installation:selfservice

This doesn't work with multiple systems offering a self service.

- set up DC Master, DC Backup, install UCS@school
- install Self Service on both
- install ucs-school-selfservice-support on both
- add school using UMC schools wizard on DC Master
- umc/self-service/passwordreset/whitelist/groups was updated correctly ("Domain Users <school" was added) on the master but not on the backup
- users in the newly created school can't use self service on backup

A Ticket-Number is required to qualify a Bug as "School Customer Affected".

I've pushed this Bug into the ucscore Trello Backlog.

Imho neither ucs-school-selfservice-support nor the listener module implementation are required anymore with UCS 4.4-4 erratum 644 released for bug 51261
