Description Christina Scheinig univentionstaff 2024-05-28 09:10:52 CEST
In addition to this Bug 57318 (Supportticket 2024030521000268) the customer asked regarding the cleanup script, why this script is not accessable and configurable via GUI. Because it is executable via cron, but also not activated by default.
Do we plan to optimize that script, make it more intelligent and configurable, and not cleaning all exams at once, and make configurable, which exam should be cleaned up?

The cleanup script is not meant to be run manually, but automatically (via cron). The configuration should be handled via UCR, so at least that part can be configured via the UMC as well as CLI, right?

Regarding your question: There are no immediate plans to improve the script. I'd suggest the following: Instead of focusing on this script we can collect bugs for remnants of the exam mode (like done with Bug 57318) and evaluate what we can do to prevent them from arising or surviving an exam - Only if that does not work the cleanup script would be my option of choice.
