Description Alexander Kläser univentionstaff 2013-05-28 18:28:15 CEST
I just tried to join a slave via the configuration wizard with latest packages (also not yet published errata → for Bug 31272), however, the samba4 join scripts fail. I am not quite sure where the problem lies. I attached the join.log, afterwards I tried to execute the missing join scripts again manually (via UMC join module).

I could not perform an installation without the latest (unpublished) errata updates due to version dependencies. The following Samba4 errata bugs have been fixed yet are not verified through the QA:

  Bug 31437
  Bug 31271
  Bug 31186
  Bug 30823
  Bug 30792
Comment 3 Stefan Gohmann univentionstaff 2013-05-28 21:27:03 CEST
> create_site: LDAP bind to Samba4 directory on
> ldap/master='master46.ucsschool.dev' failed!

The site creation failed because Samba 4 is not installed on the DC Master.
